Designed for a safer world
A medical-grade 3D prototype reimagining prevention through design.
SeedSense is a concept product combining material science, user-centered design, and precision 3D modeling to create an innovative approach to STD prevention. Every detail considered. Every surface intentional.
Explore the Design →Good design is not just what looks beautiful — it is what protects, what prevents, what empowers the people who use it.
Form following purpose
Every curve and contour was derived from ergonomic research. The product geometry follows natural handling patterns, reducing friction between the user and the act of protection itself.
Material selection was guided by biocompatibility studies and tactile research. The chosen materials communicate quality and safety through their feel alone — before the product is even examined visually.
Medical products carry the burden of trust. The visual language of SeedSense draws from clinical precision while maintaining warmth — bridging the sterile and the human.
Modeled in Blender with engineering-grade precision. Meshes were built to production tolerances, enabling the render to serve as an accurate pre-manufacturing reference.
The SeedSense prototype was built using a layered approach: starting with research and sketches, moving to rough blockout, then iterative refinement of geometry, materials, and lighting. The result is a photorealistic render indistinguishable from a physical prototype photograph.
Understanding the behavioral, psychological, and physical barriers to STD prevention. Conducted research into existing solutions, identifying gaps in usability, accessibility, and emotional resonance.
Dozens of sketches exploring form, ergonomics, and visual language. The brief was to create something that did not feel clinical or intimidating — that normalized protection through approachable design.
The model was constructed in Blender using subdivision surface modeling, ensuring smooth, production-accurate geometry. Every edge loop was placed with intent to maintain clean topology throughout.
PBR materials were crafted to convey quality, sterility, and care simultaneously. Lighting was engineered as a product photographer would approach it — every highlight revealing form, every shadow building depth.
Nine production-grade renders produced at 4K resolution. Composited with care in post-production. The final deliverable: a complete visual identity for a product ready to enter the world.
